On the morning of July 24th, the campers were led by Ms. Li Hongyan from the Language and Culture Center of Jiangsu University in a class on "Interesting Chinese Characters". Before the class, Ms. Li Hongyan took the initiative to communicate with the teachers and campers to understand their language acquisition, introduced the Language and Culture Center of Jiangsu University to the campers, and guided them to read their own and their classmates' Chinese names out loud, so that the campers were also interested in the interesting Chinese characters and the interesting class.

Before the class, Ms. Li Hongyan gave the campers a quote, "In pen, ink and paper, we depict our ideals; in pen, ink and paper, we write our ideals." After that, she guided the campers to discuss about Chinese language learning. Campers from the American team, Ms. Jenny Wu, Mr. Song Cheng from the German team, and Mr. Zhou Junlin from the Spanish team told us about their experiences and reflections on learning Chinese characters and Chinese language, such as listening to more Chinese songs and watching more Chinese movies, copying more, writing more, and also expressed their strong interest and true love for Chinese characters.

Afterwards, Ms. Li Hongyan talked about "Life is full of language" and guided the children to recall the Chinese characters, language and culture that they had experienced in Jinshan, Beigushan and Vinegar Culture Museum, and introduced the Chinese characters in the oracle bone inscriptions, such as "male", The campers followed Mr. Li's lead and learned about the evolution of the Chinese characters in the oracle bones, such as "male" and "female". The campers followed Mr. Li's introduction and perceived the historical and cultural origins behind the Chinese characters and the rapid development of the times.

Immediately afterward, Mr. Li allowed the campers to interact with the lead teacher and led the children to immerse themselves in experiencing the stories behind the Chinese characters with tea instead of wine. After experiencing the "wine" culture behind the Chinese characters, the students, led by Ms. Li Hongyan, engaged in a "Fun Chinese Character and Chinese Language Knowledge Competition". In this session, the campers demonstrated their solid knowledge of Chinese culture and culture and showed off their skills. With their familiarity with the Chinese language, their thoughts flowed like a spring, and even though the competition had already ended, they still could not get enough of it.

At the end of the activity, the campers patiently wrote Bai Juyi's poem "Remembering the South of the Yangtze River" on a piece of paper. In the scenery of the South of the Yangtze River, where "the flowers of the river are more red than fire at sunrise, and the water of the river is green as blue in spring", with the passage of time and the accompaniment of music, and with ink and inkstones, the campers wrote down their good expectations and wishes.
