Associate professor, Ph.D., and master’s supervisor. Main research interests include Folk Literature and Art, Protection of Intangible Cultural Heritage and International Dissemination of Traditional Chinese Culture. Once worked at East Asian Studies Center of University of Turku, Finland for one year, which was supported by the Chinese government. Currently the Deputy Dean of School of Liberal Arts, and Deputy Director of Language and Culture Center, Jiangsu University.

Appointed as an expert of Folk Literature Theory of the publishing and editing expert committee of the book Collections of Chinese Folk Literature, specialist of the evaluation of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Zhenjiang city, director of Zhenjiang Folk Culture Art Museum and Zhenjiang Folk Writers and Artists Association, an external expert of Zhenjiang Comprehensive Practice Base for Teenagers, and director of the association for Literary Anthropology.
Projects chaired include one provincial-level, three city-level, and four university-level. Participated in major projects, key projects and provincial-level projects of national social science fund; published one monograph and over 20 academic papers in academic journals like Research on Ethnic Literature, Journal of East China Normal University (Philosophy and Social Science edition) and Journal of Guangxi University for Nationalities.
Worked as a chief editor of one school-based textbook of Zhenjiang Comprehensive Practice Base for Teenagers, and a participant in the compilation of several textbooks; The academic paper Towards Landscape Narrative: Modern Evolution of the Form of Folk Legend won the first prize of the outstanding paper on Intangible Cultural Heritage of Jiangsu provincial Department of Culture in 2014. The academic paper Research on the Inheritance and Utilization of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of the Grand Canal in Zhenjiang won the third prize in the special study of the Grand Canal in Zhenjiang. The academic paper Rite, Language and Landscape: the Narrative System of the Symbol "Eminent Monks Subduing the Snake" in Jinshan Temple of Zhenjiang City was selected as the annual excellent paper in Chinese Folklore Yearbook (2016);
Awarded the title of outstanding instructor of the second "Chinese Education Contest" summer camp and 2018 teaching exchange conference for MTCSOL students issued by Hanban (Confucius Institute Headquarters); Awarded the honorary title of "Excellent Instructor" by information office of Jiangsu provincial government; Awarded the honorary title of "Young Expert of Jiangsu University" in 2017; Won the second prize of the senior group in the 8th Teachers' Lecture Competition of Jiangsu University and the first prize in the 1st Teachers' Lecture Competition of School of Liberal Arts, Jiangsu University.
